On Sunday April 14th, the Drift will be offering an Advanced Entomology Class. If you've taken our Entomology 101 or already have a good fundamental knowledge of the prime aquatic trout foods, this class will help take you to the next level of understanding the intricacies of aquatic bug life. Taught by the Drift's in-house flyologist (and biologist) Catherine O'Grady, this class offers a detailed look inside the life cycles of the "Big Four"; mayflies, stoneflies, midge and caddis. The three hour class is $25 and there is a maximum of 8 students. We ask that you prepay to reserve your spot so don't delay!
On April 20th is our next Intro to Fly Fishing class from 8:00am to Noon. The class covers equipment, knots and rigging, fly selection, and hands on casting instruction. The cost is $50 for the 4 hour class and there is a maximum of six students to ensure a good deal of one on one instruction. Prepayment is required to hold your spot OR the cost is waived with the purchase of a rod/reel or wader and boots.
The Drift has over 20 DVDs that you can rent. Cost is $5 for a week rental and will be credited toward the purchase of the DVD should you want to buy it.
